What is the weather generally like in Italy in June?

I found the average temperatures and such, but is it normally sunny or cloudy or what? I’m from Alaska so temperatures in the 60s (F) in the evening wouldn’t be too chilly for us. Thanks!

It usually very nice here in northern Italy - sunny and warm, but not excessively so for the first half of the month. We do occassionally get some thunderstorms and it’s useful to have a small, folding umbrella, but most days are sunny and dry.
